About Campbellsville, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Situated in the county seat of Taylor County, Kentucky, Campbellsville is a city with an estimated population of more than 10,700 residents. The county seat of Taylor County, Campbellsville is known for its historic downtown district and undeniably inviting appeal. It is also the site of Campbellsville University - one of the best baccalaureate colleges in the south - that presently enrolls over 3,000 students and offers associate, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.

The city was founded and laid out in 1817 by Andrew Campbell, who owned a tavern and gristmill and began selling lots in the new town in 1814. Campbellsville became the county seat in 1846 when Taylor County was separated from Green Count. Though the first courthouse was burned in 1864 by the Confederate cavalry, a replacement courthouse was soon built after the war.

While a third courthouse was completed in 1965 on an adjoining property, the demand for a more modern courthouse led to the construction of the New Justice Centre that was completed in 2009. An official county jail was also established to avoid the cost and inconvenience of transporting and housing prisoners in Lebanon in Marion County, which is situated nearby.

One of Campbellsville’s most alluring features is its historic downtown district. The blocks of Main Street are lined with stone and brick, while the iron buildings feature Italianate architecture facades.  The downtown area has been undergoing redevelopment since 2008, improving pedestrian amenities and highlighting its historic design.  There are also many historic sites situated in Campbellsville, making it a treat to watch for history enthusiasts

Campbellsville’s ubiquitous access to the internet, local university and healthcare system attracts thousands of professionals and students every year. The city is home to many wood milling companies and its expanded healthcare industry serves more than 110,000 people. Additionally, the tourism industry is also on the rise in the area due to its close proximity to the Green River Lake State Park and Green River Lake.

The city receives 50 inches of rainfall and 10 inches of snowfall per year. With the average high in summer months around 89 degrees, having an air conditioning system will help you lower the temperature in your home.  Moreover, since the mercury drops as low as 25 degrees in the winter months, installing a heat pump is a great way to beat the cold, windy weather.
